About this work

In a messy interior, a man and a woman are winding yarn onto bobbins. Between them stands a child, leaning on the woman's leg, watching. Between the eggshells and broken pipes, a dog is sleeping. At the bottom, a six-line verse. Subject categories within the Atlas of Customs and Manners: Trade, industry and traffic, Peasant life.
