About this work

'De misleyden': the ambassador of the Labberlotten presents himself at the window of the inn 't Bokki ('t Bokje) in the Haarlemmerhout (a prank played by Jacob Campo Weyerman and associates in 1739). A group of people looks at the rear painted as a face, sticking out of the inn window.
