About this work
Gilded mast root with 16 segments. The lower (damaged) one consists of 4 putti with arms raised; the others feature stylized plant motifs. The 3rd, 7th, 11th, 14th and 17th segments are adorned with 4 putti heads. A round hole at the bottom; topped with a finial of a bunch of feathers.
