About this work
Ball of red wool with a wooden core, mounted on a remainder of yellow metal. Through the ball is inserted (remainder of) the same metal shaft, upon which is mounted a red horsehair plume, set in a red woolen holder. The plume is held together by a ring, probably metal, covered in red.
