Iron hunting sword

Hilt with a broad quillon that forms a continuation of the quillon shoulder and ends asymmetrically at the top in a widening with an upward-curving projection at the front (resembling the silhouette of a bird's head with a beak). Two vertical grooves run along the edges, continuing along the upper end. On either side of the quillon, a pair of grip plates made of horn, both attached to the quillon by three rivets consisting of hollow brass tubes. At the ends, downward-curving pommel, rectangular in cross-section and thicker in the middle, namely where the quillon passes. Double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal cross-section with a central fuller extending to 305 mm from the pommel. Marked.
