About this work

Sheet with six coastal views of different islands and island groups, arranged side by side and below each other; for each coast, two sailing ships. These are New Guinea, New Ireland, and other islands named Anthony Caens Island, Gerrit de Nys Island, and the Fishermen's Islands, likely part of the present-day Bismarck Archipelago. All the images are numbered 21 W. Illustration from: Beschryving van Amboina (1724).
