Issue of the satirical magazine De Notenkraker of 23 November 1907, first year, number 47. Cover illustration of Abraham Kuyper, with pipe, in dressing gown and slippers, looking contentedly at an image of the carrying of the cross of Christ. Part of a complete first year (1907). Each issue contains 8 pages, partly still uncut, with a caricature by Albert Hahn on the front and Hahn's prints interspersed with the text on the remaining pages. In the letter 'D' of the title, a head of a so-called nutcracker is depicted.
