Winepot from the V.O.C.-ship the 'Witte Leeuw'

Kettle of porcelain from VOC ship 'De Witte Leeuw', 100 percent present. Kettle with a slightly pressed round shape, an S-shaped spout, a standing handle and a bell-shaped lid with lid knob. Decorated in underglaze blue with on the wall fields with blooming plants (peony) and luck symbols (artemisia leaf, scrolls) and on the shoulder and lid swastikas with small fields with flower branches. The decoration motifs are not completely filled with blue, but hatched with parallel lines. The body is glassy white and has little fired-in dirt. The base is glazed and the footring is straight and faceted. Kraak porcelain in blue-white.
