About this work
Plate made for export to Anglo-Saxon countries, Nanking porcelain plate. In three pieces, one of which consists of two glued fragments. This object is 18th century and therefore cannot be from the cargo of the Witte Leeuw. It is unclear whether the object comes from the site or was later mixed, possibly with material from the Zeelelie.
