Two studies of Dr. Herman Schaepman. Knee-length portrait, with a sheet of paper in the right hand and the left hand in the pocket. On the reverse side a sketch of several men behind a table. Above them names and crosses. In front of the table a standing man. On the reverse side the names: Metz v. Alphen vd Sleyden Bruyn vd L. (v.d. Linden) Beelaerts Ruys Rengers Stenographer. Part of a group of sketches of the discussion in the Second Chamber on the constitutional revision of 1887, published in the weekly magazine Eigen Haard (1887).
