Hilt, grip; eroded, squashed; circular in section, bulbous centre part, relieved decoration of shell and scroll motifs and a central scene with a human figure on two sides between twisted bands of lines, spool-shaped moulding on one end, pommel or tang button broken off, rectangular tang bore.
