About this work
Candlestick, stem; fragm, consisting of lower part of composition stem, inverted baluster between two spool-shaped elements, flat circular upper end topped by square central boss serving as fitting for a drip-pan (cf. NG 1980-27H867), through hollow core runs shaft of the upper part of the stem (cf. NG 1980-27H1933), broken off, lower end of shaft protruding below base, riveted over (originally passed through foot, riveted in place).
