About this work
Digging a pond as a water reservoir for the fire brigade, also used as a swimming pool for the recreation of the prisoners. Part of a group of 130 photographs taken by Dick van Maarseveen in the German prisoner-of-war camp Stalag IV B in Mühlberg during the period 1943-1945.
