About this work
The two small wooden fragments once formed part of a ramrod for a musket. The colors are grey/black/brown and it is presumably coniferous wood. One of the fragments shows a slight angle due to secondary deformation and is split on one side. Grooves are visible on the surface. The two fragments were originally found together in a concretion along with the remains of a musket.
