About this work
Pen and brush drawings of noses, mouths, hands, feet, faces and figures. Bound in a cover with a floral pattern, oblong. Numbered from 1 to 18. Title page: 'Drawings by Jan Brandes', 'which he drew all of this in one day in December 1787'. The booklet belonged (according to an inscription on the inside of the cover) to: 'Belonging to JE Martin Uppsala on 1 May 1845'. Part of the small sketchbook by Jan Brandes 'Drawings by Jan Brandes' (1808), p. 1-18.
