About this work

Worn silver coin, struck on an irregular planchet. Obverse: crowned coat of arms, largely covered by a silver concretion, with an imprint of the canvas structure in which the coins were packed. Reverse: cross in a quatrefoil; between the arms of the cross: heraldic figures.
