Obverse: Pillars of Hercules standing in waves; between the pillars: inscription in three lines; top line, l.r.: mint mark L, numeral 8, assayer's letter R; middle line: Habsburg motto; bottom line, l.r.: (not visible) assayer's letter, (partially visible) year, (partially visible) mint mark. Reverse: Peruvian cross; between the arms of the cross: heraldic charges; above: numeral 8; below (partially visible): numeral 68 [?].
