The steam-powered excavator (Ruston Steam Shovel) in operation in the pit of the open-cast mine. Part of the loose-leaf photo album presented by the staff of the Boekit-Asam Coal Mines on Sumatra to the departing Engineer-Director H. Tromp on 7 January 1922.
