About this work

The Russian flag hanging on one of the barracks in the camp. The Russian army liberated the camp on April 23, 1945. Part of a group of photographs taken by Dick van Maarseveen in the German prisoner-of-war camp Stalag IV B in Mühlberg, 1943–1945.
