About this work
Two photographs from shortly after the liberation. Top photo: opening of a photography exhibition by members of the "underground camera" a few weeks after the liberation, in the studio of photographer M. Meijboom on the Keizersgracht. On the right in the photo T. van Renterghem, on the left a former leader of the resistance. Bottom photo: reburial of an American pilot who had been secretly buried during the occupation.
