About this work
Silver round coffee pot with scalloped and engraved ornaments with floral motifs. A gold medal is placed in the lid and can hinge to it. The medal is from the Dutch Society for Agriculture (1847): '1st prize for productive cows', 'J.D. Preuijt The Hague 1872'. Ivory rings in the handle. Inside the pot is a loose filter with a handle and in it a loose coffee tamper. Between the handle and the lid two leaves are attached. The pot stands on four feet.
