About this work
Silver round teapot with chased and engraved ornaments with floral motifs. A gold medal is placed in the lid and can hinge to it. The medal is from the Holland Society for Agriculture (1847): '1st prize with f100' 'milking cows', 'J.D. Preuyt', ''s Gravenhage 1862'. The lid hinges to the pot. Ivory rings in the handle. The pot stands on four feet.
