About this work
A dwelling for the workers on the Brussel plantation, 1937. In front of the house, some residents are squatting. To the left, the planting of oil palms and eucalyptus; to the right, pineapples, banana trees and maize are growing. Part of the photo album on the plantations Pernantian and Brussel of the Sumatra Caoutchouc Company on the East Coast of Sumatra from the years 1935-1939.
