A group of Surinamese women carry jugs of water on their heads in front of the hospital reservoir, likely in Paramaribo. Part of the photo album Souvenir de Voyage (part 5), about the life of the Doijer family in and around the plantation Ma Retraite in Suriname in the years 1903-1910.
