About this work
Multicolored overskirt with a black waistband and black hem. A ribbon is threaded through the waistband. The skirt consists of rectangular patches with vertical stripes between them. The stripes are colored orange, blue, and white. The lining is light rose. Along the hem, halfway down, in two blocks, text is embroidered across the lining: 5 / mei; 1946. Ribbon belonging to festive skirt: NG-1995-9-2.
