Cityscape with People at the Former Franciscan Monastery

The former Portuguese Franciscan monastery, after the war taken over as Governor's House and as an arsenal. On the left a long facade with in the middle a double stone staircase with a platform leading to a door on the first floor. At that height windows are also drawn. Above that a triangular gable with a decoration on a side corner and a cross on the top. Behind that a lower building sticks out, with on the floor a row of windows with shutters. All buildings have a tiled roof. Far left a slope is drawn. At the end there is a row of trees. The facade in the middle is dominated by a very high entrance: a gate arch with a triangular pediment. Above it two windows with open shutters. The triangular gable has a round closed window. At the top of the blind side wall is a projecting roof cornice. The roof itself is missing. To the right another building adjoins, with a low tiled roof. It has a slightly higher facade but a much lower gate. Above and next to it windows are drawn.
