About this work
One-sided, rectangular plaque. Obverse: city maiden with a laurel wreath in her hair, holding a pillar with her right hand, to which hangs a crowned coat of arms, wrapped with laurel leaves, and against which rests an anchor, and raises a curtain with her left hand, revealing the New Church; at her feet lies the Dutch lion and the staff of Mercury; cut-off: inscription. Reverse: blank.
