About this work

An eighteenth-century silver double stuiver, offered on the occasion of the publication of the Algemene Geschiedenis der Nederlanden. Obverse: a crowned coat of arms with a lion inside. To the left is a 2 and to the right is the letter S. Reverse: a star with an inscription below. The stuiver is fixed between two layers of plastic attached between two pieces of cardboard, on which explanation and notes on the coin are provided.
