About this work
Coat of arms of William I Frederick, King of the Netherlands, in a round black frame with a hook and behind glass. Two standing crowned lions hold the shield aloft. Below this a clasp with 'HONI' and 'PENSE'. Below this two ribbons, one illegible. The lower one reads 'JE MAINTIENDRAI'. Draped curtains on both sides, above which a crown. On a blue background. On the back of the frame a label with text is pasted.
