President Soekarno returns to the Republican capital Yogyakarta after his imprisonment on the Bangka Islands. The procession, led by an open carriage with a standing Soekarno, followed by cars with Republican leaders, army officers, members of the UN commission, and foreign journalists, is warmly welcomed by an exuberant crowd in a street in Yogyakarta.
