Bronze medal. Obverse: steamship sailing through a strait guarded by two forts, each with four cannons; two airplanes in the sky. With signature. Reverse: elongated shield with climbing (Dutch) lion under a triangular cap, placed before cranes lifting goods and a hat with wings (symbol of trade) at the top, within a circle of ears of corn. With date and inscription.
