Bronze medal, cast and riveted, made on the occasion of the death of the painter M.I. van Bree (1773-1839). Obverse: bust of a man turned to the left, shown in profile, with inscription. Reverse: objects related to art and the practice of art grouped on a pedestal, including a bust of a Greek god, a painter's palette and books, as well as some charters, with in the background an altar with a burning oil lamp, within a corded border with inscription.
