Bronze medal. Obverse: bust of a man (Prince Henry) in profile to the left, in uniform with three stars on the collar and cap (small uniform of a lieutenant-commander) within a legend. Reverse: a stormy sea, seen from land, with a breakwater and lighthouse, with a large ship (SS Berlin) half-sunk on the right and two smaller ships on the left, with legend and caption.
