About this work
Knee stocking, light brown, the cuff is knitted in purl stitch and a decorative seam runs from the cuff to the heel. The rest is medium-fine and hand-knitted in stocking stitch. This stocking has been worn for a long time. At first attempts were made to mend the holes with coarse light brown, brown and dark brown threads. When this was no longer possible, five repair patches were sewn on. Three of these are woven in plain weave and one in twill, and a piece of felt was used. These patches are red-brown in color. Due to the differences, it does not form a pair with NG-2006-110-18-B.
