About this work
Short blade with a strongly tapering form with a sharp central ridge; two perforations at the bottom. Light hexagonal tapering socket with a disc-shaped knob at the top and a ring-shaped profile below. The socket has a transverse slit through which the axe and hook, forged as one piece, are inserted. This whole is secured with three flat-filed rivets. Both the axe and the hook have comma-shaped cutouts. Two riveted feathers. Round (ash wood) shaft (black-painted) broken off at the bottom. Shoe missing.
