About this work

Military vehicles stand in front of the Groote Club (corner Kalverstraat / Dam), from which the Kriegsmarine had fired on the crowd on the Dam on May 7. Members of the Kriegsmarine are arrested and taken away by the Internal Forces. This presumably happened a day after the shooting, i.e., on May 8.
