About this work
Portrait of a member of the NSB, Frederik Willem van Vloten, Head of the Department of Social Care. Badges on his collar are unclear, three stripes are visible. He wears a belt diagonally across the chest, glasses, and is bare-headed. Van Vloten was Circle Leader of the Gooi, bank director, and from 1 April 1941 mayor of Delft. On 1 June 1942 he became Director of the Winterhulp, and was also leader of the Nederlandsche Volksdienst.
