About this work
Portrait of a member of the WA. Full-length, standing in front of a house. On his collar a badge with two stars: Kompaan, the lower cadre. Cap with the Wolfsangel, on his left sleeve the triangular emblem of the NSB. Belt diagonally across the chest. It is an older man, with glasses and a moustache. The inscription on the verso states that it is a member of the Landwacht, established at the end of 1943.
