About this work

A cemetery with German soldiers at the foot of the ruins of a church. To the right, a few soldiers are tending to the graves. The names are on the crosses, 1940 and sometimes JU52. Pilots of Junkers 52? Inscribed on the back: Ewige ruhe im Valkenburg, Holland, gefallen am 10, 11, 12, 13, 14. 5. 1940.
