Album page with four photos. Two photos show Dutch soldiers facing captured Indonesian fighters and men who may be rebellious. Inscriptions on the photos mention 'Aantreden ploppers' and 'KNIL serg. spreekt lichte gevallen van ploppers toe. Aug. 1948'. On a third photo (bottom right) the local population is being vaccinated against smallpox. Part of the photo album 'Ter herinnering aan mijn diensttijd overzee' 1948-1949.
