The east facade of the house of Be Biauw Tjoan, Major-Chinese in Semarang. Residents and staff posing at the door and on the balcony. Part of the red photo album with photos of Java, formerly in the possession of pharmacist Specht-Grijp, who returned to the Netherlands from Batavia in 1865.
