About this work
The Archangel Raphael takes leave of Tobias and Tobit. The men are surrounded by vases and chests of coins; gifts that Tobias and Tobit offered their traveling companion as a sign of gratitude. In the background on the right, the angel disappears into the sky. In the lower margin a four-line Latin text.
