About this work
Two fragmentary prints on a sheet, with German caption and Latin inscription. Left: Horse and rider to the left. The horse is in walk and carries two French squires on its back. The foremost squire has a riding whip. Right: Horse and rider to the right. The horse is in walk. The rider is recognizable as a French councilor by his clothing. According to the accompanying text, he is on his way to the Paris parliament.
