About this work
A group of women sitting on the ground processing tobacco leaves; the women wear white headscarves. In the background, tobacco leaves are hung against a wall to dry. Part of the photo album for Eugen Wachenheimer on his departure as director of the Deutsche Bank branch in Sofia, December 1928.
