About this work

Elisabeth, the last Lady of Culemborg. Was married to Jan van Luxemburg and later to Antoon van Lalaing. Just before her death in 1555, Charles V elevated the Lordship of Culemborg to a County. Full-length standing figure holding the quartered coat of arms of Culemborg. Part of an illuminated manuscript with the genealogy of the Lords and Counts of Culemborg.
