View of a plantation, likely plantation Jagtlust, from the opposite side of the Suriname river. On the river, sailing from left to right, a schooner with a dinghy, a pondo and an open sailing skiff with seven men and luggage on board. In front of one of the plantation buildings is a landing place with a flagpole with the Dutch flag at the top.
