Collection of 68 postcards from Suriname assembled in an album as a souvenir of a stay in Suriname in September 1911. The cards depict street scenes in Paramaribo, the interior, and various population groups. Examples of inscriptions: Market on the Heiligenweg, also known as Wowojo; Announcement of fresh meat; On the roadstead of Paramaribo; Javanese immigrants with musical instruments; Landing place Cabenda above Saramacca; Mulatto; Indian woman; Sakoonath; British Indian; Javanese; Creole; Bush Negro; Doctor in Boven-Cottica; and Tjin-A-Mooy with her Creole wife.
