About this work

Cast silver medal, with a rough raised, partly pearly border; obverse: upright sword with a coin/medal on the tip and two ears on either side; to the right of the sword a row of 9 coins/medals and to the left a pair of spectacles under which an indistinct object, within legend; reverse: two men (nobles) greeting each other, within legend. Against the tax on the Tenth Penny, instituted by the Duke of Alba.
