Bill of exchange for the amount of 1366.66 guilders issued to the slave owner 'A.D. Charlouis' on September 1, 1865. According to the regulations regarding the abolition of slavery on July 1, 1863, in Suriname. The bill of exchange is signed by the governor and bears various stamps and notes indicating that payment has been made.
