Tureen with the Coat of Arms of the Swellengrebel Family

Round tureen on a footring, with two small shell-shaped handles; a convex lid with a pointed finial. Painted in underglaze blue with black and gold on the glaze. A broad band with strapwork and floral scrolls in blue and gold runs around the lid rim and the upper side of the bowl. On the lid and the bowl, twice the coat of arms of the Swellengrebel family in black and gold: a French lily on an oval shield and a stag's antlers above a crown as the crest.
